Originally established in 1953, Kennedy Bowles, P.C. is a small, independent firm located in the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Portland, Oregon. The firm specializes in complex civil litigation, construction defect cases, business torts, plaintiff's injury claims, and maintains a busy arbitration and mediation practice.

In 1978, Michael D. Kennedy joined the practice, eventually becoming managing partner. At that time, Kennedy Bowles was restructured to focus practice chiefly on securities fraud and significant personal injury litigation. Eventually, Kennedy Bowles expanded its practice to include commercial insurance defense and construction defect cases.

Today, Kennedy Bowles, P.C. and its attorneys and staff continue to live up to the expectations associated with the AV rating awarded by Martindale Hubbell. The firm consists of dedicated attorneys who pride themselves on providing efficient, cost-effective services for each and every client.
