I have always had a passion for travel and trip planning. For many years, I focused that passion toward planning amazing trips for my family as well as study abroad trips for my students at Tarleton State University. In 2016, I formed Euro Travel Coach as a way to share my love and knowledge of Europe with others by offering travel coaching services, custom itinerary planning and small-group guided tours. I have been to 40 countries but have a special appreciation and affection for Italy, France, Ireland, the UK and the rest of Europe. For me, planning a trip is part of the fun! It is incredibly rewarding for me when people return from their travels and tell me that my suggestions and advice were the highlights of their trip. My undergraduate degree is in hotel, restaurant management and I taught international business in Texas for 15 years. My husband and I retired from university teaching, sold our house and most of our stuff and now travel full time. We are working for wineries, housesitting, teaching English as a second language, and experiencing the European culture that we want to share with our clients. We both received our Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Certification in Wines & Spirits in 2015. We have been taking students and adult learners abroad for over 20 years. It has also been our great joy to travel abroad with our two children from the time they were very small. They are both in their 20s now and we know their travels have shaped their perspectives and worldview. Our daughter also has a degree in hospitality and works with us sharing her deep knowledge of wine and food and her experience from living in the U.K. and Denmark. Euro Travel Coach creates custom itineraries and tours by design for European destinations. We also lead boutique small group trips to Italy and other places within Europe. Our focus is on wine, food and culture. We have worked with a range of clients - from those who have never left the U.S. to frequent travelers who simply don't have the time and/or desire to go through the lengthy research process that goes with planning a European vacation.
