If you’re looking for great glatt kosher dining on the Upper West Side, Talia’s Steakhouse is hard to beat. It’s got a tremendous amount of character and class; the international wine selection is superb; and the steak is some of the best in New York City. The wait staff is especially personable, as is the owner Ephraim, who may engage you in a conversation about the food. I recommend the ribeye (of couse!) and the Yemenite chicken in a pot. Nice outdoor seating, too.

Talia proved to be again a great little restaurant for family dinner. We went there last Thursday for Thanksgiving since we didn’t feel like staying home and cooking. The Turkey was delicious. They had a special Thanksgiving Prix Fix which was really inexpensive for the quality and quantity of the food we got. There was also a special Children menu. The staff was professional and the ambiance romantic and cozy.
