Liviu B. Saimovici, M.D., Board Certified - Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, is the Founder and Surgical Director of Saimovici Lasik and is adept in cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. Saimovici was awarded the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina. He received his medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the renowned Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he was appointed to the position of Chief Resident at several Washington Hospitals and was responsible for the training and supervision of resident surgeons.
Dr. Saimovici is a member of the Mount Sinai Medical Staff and School of Medicine Faculty. He is an attending physician at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital / Lenox Hill Hospital. Inventor, teacher and mentor to other doctors, he teaches them how to perform various laser vision correction procedures. In New York City, since 1983, Dr. Saimovici has treated thousands of patients for facial reconstruction and is a tru artist in his craft. He is proficient in state of the art laser treatments for body sculpting including Sculpture and is highly experienced in dermal fillers along with various types of injectables.
