Sandra Campagnolo Moletto has been dancing since the age of 2 1/2. At the age of 3, she won her first gold medal. This was the beginning of a lucrative career in the world of dance and choreography. Sandra is proud to have been named "Miss Petite Dance USA" as well as "Miss Junior Dance USA." In addition, she was the very first recipient of the title "Miss Dance Long Island." Over the years, Sandra has studied with an impressive list of dancers and choreographers. Among them is Frank Hatchett, who she not only assisted at local conventions and in classes at Broadway Dance Center, but was invited by him to assist at a convention in Japan. Sandra has also studied tap with the famed Maurice and Gregory Hines. Also, she collaborated on a special percussion project called "Tap Meets Drums" with Liberty Devito, drummer for Billy Joel. She has also studied at the infamous Joffery Ballet company and American Ballet Theatre. Sandra has not only judged many Regional and National dance competitions, she has performed in countless dance competitions and showcases, among them an annual Broadway Dance Center showcase with Savion Glover. She believes in staying current with all the latest dance styles and trends and to this day continues to take classes with Twyla Tharp, Sheila Barker, Charles Kelly, Jason Samuels Smith, Cris Judd, Tyce Diorio, Mia Michaels and many more. Sandra has won numerous choreography awards, perfect score awards and Teacher of the Year awards. She was offered the opportunity to perform in "Crazy for You," but instead chose to pass her love of dance on to her students at Kings Park Dance Center which opened its doors in 1987 and where she is currently owner and director.
