Camp Jam is America's most comprehensive rock camp for kids age 7 to 17. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Carlisi (original lead guitar player for .38 Special), Camp Jam offers day and overnight programs with curriculum developed by him and other rock and roll legends, including Liberty DeVitto (drums for Billy Joel). Â Â
Programs are offered for all abilities beginner to advanced for guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keyboard, audio tech and video.  Camp Jam's multi-level curriculum schools students in every aspect of playing in a real rock band. From playing techniques to stage presence, the program's variety of classes will turn the bedroom player into a bona fide rock star. The most unique aspect of the camps is the involvement of seasoned rock and roll musicians who support a team of talented, professional counselors.  Each camp features master classes and one on one sessions with artists including Carlisi, DeVitto, Jennifer Batten (guitar with Michael Jackson),  Jim Peterik (Survivor), Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett) and others.  Imagine your child getting inspiration and coaching from “the real thingâ€. The camp setting is a great way to make new friends.

Add ReviewI have twin daughters that have attended Camp Jam and it is one of their greatest experiences. They loved the staff of musicians who were so nurturing. The girls learned so much about being in a band, teamwork and their confidence soared at the final concert. Obviously as parents, we could not be more proud to see them on the big stage. We were recommended this camp from friends in Atlanta who's son has attended for years. Our girls can't wait to go back this summer to the overnight program.Report
