About Michael Nagy, MD, FACS

Double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Nagy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in biology/pre-medicine from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He earned his doctorate at the University of Cincinnati Medical College. After completing a five-year general surgery residency at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Nagy, a Monsignor Donovan H.S. alumnus, returned to the shore area to practice as a general surgeon. He pursued additional training after two years in practice and was accepted into a Fellowship specializing in cosmetic and breast surgery with an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
