About Moo Duk Kwan HQ

Moo Duk Kwan is a traditional Korean martial art. Classes are offered for students as young as four with some of our older students in their 70s. Moo Duk Kwan translated means Military School of Virtue. The art taught in all Moo Duk Kwan schools is called Soo Bahk Do. The Korean art of Soo Bahk Do dates back many centuries. Soo Bahk Do was first developed during the Silla Dynasty (618-935 A.D.) but enjoyed its flowering during the Koryo Dynasty (935-1392 A.D.).
