Lukin Center for Psychotherapy

Tim Meyer is by far the best therapist I have ever worked with. I cant thank him enough for how much he has helped me! Going to the Lukin Center as a whole was a great experience as well and I am forever grateful for them for connecting me with Tim.

Ms. Estrella is exactly who you look for in a professional. She is conscientious, friendly, and always has her patients’ best interest in mind. We are very grateful for all she has done for our family during what has been extremely trying circumstances. Highly recommend.

I started going here at the darkest moment of my life. I’ve been seeing Tim for almost 2 years and now I am in the best place of my life that I have ever been! I still continue to go here and it’s still always helpful! I highly recommend this place!! He was also able to help my family back from a horrible point so this is an easy 5 star review!

Great team of therapists with availability for both in-person and on virtual visits. The level of empathy and care is excellent. I highly recommend the Center to patients of all ages. Tim, Maya and Jessyka are wonderful and true lifesavers

I worked with Melissa F. at Lukin Center and she was excellent! Extremely caring, kind, passionate and accommodating with my crazy schedule. She truly made a big difference in my progress and I cannot thank her enough. If it wasn't for Melissa I am not sure how I would have gotten through some tough times. I sincerely thank her for being so compassionate and highly recommend working with her as well as Lukin Center.

There are literally no words worthy enough to describe what a phenomenal therapist and person Tim is. I have been under his care for several months now and the progression and transformation I’ve experienced has been like no other. Tim is objective, insightful, calming, logical, funny, and it’s crystal clear he loves what he does because he, without a doubt, stands out from all the rest. He has a way of opening your eyes to the things that were right there all along. This, coming from a self proclaimed introspective and analytical person, is no small feat. We have recently begun EMDR therapy and it is surely a powerful and effective tool at processing traumas in your life in a controlled manner. I look forward to maintaining this relationship with Tim for years to come. That’s right Tim, you’re stuck with me forever! Haha. Truly, thank you for sharing your gift, expertise, support, and objective understanding of my crazy self. I’m beyond grateful.
Side note: As a writer, I’m rarely at a loss for words, but found it somewhat difficult to express the tremendous impact Tim has had on my life, so I hope I did him justice here.

Dr Lukin literally saved my life! After seeing numerous psychiatrists and psychologists and being told I suffer from Anxiety and Depression, I went to see Dr. Lukin who properly diagnosed me with OCD. He knew the exact treatment for me to overcome my obsessions/fears. He was very understanding and patient: the first several sessions mostly consisted of me denying that I had OCD and him patiently helping me accept the diagnosis. Not only was Dr. Lukin patient with my denial, but also patient and understanding with my propensity to self-medicate with alcohol, helping me combat my nightly urges to drink. Additionally, he always knew the right thing to say to guide me through my time of fear and trauma, without offering reassurance, as that would be detrimental to the treatment. Finally, Dr. Lukin never takes any notes during the session, but, impressively, he never forgot a single detail of my life over our 18 months of treatment. I lived for 20 years in a constant state of fear and rumination, but now thanks to Dr. Lukin, I can happily say that I live a complete and meaningful, obsession free life.

Dr. Lukin and our work together has been life changing. His knowledge, professionalism and calming approach in cognitive behavior therapy has been highly effective for me. I highly recommend working with Dr. Lukin.

I have been working with Dr. Lukin for over five years, and can not express in words how great he has been to work with - but I will do my best here. I started working with Dr. Lukin at the suggestion of my wife on a number of matters. Dr. Lukin has been amazing and has guided me through my mid-life and other matters. While I have seen numerous other doctors over the last five years in parallel, Dr. Lukin by far was the most helpful. Even now, after leaving NJ to relocate elsewhere, I make it a point to stay in contact with his office. I can not thank Dr. Lukin and his practice enough, he and his team have impacted my life in the most positive way possible.
