Burkman Podiatry

Dr. Burkman grew up on a cattle and potato farm in Idaho. He met his wife, Holly, in college during his undergraduate training. The couple moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he studied for his doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. In 2008, after graduation, he moved his family to Leavenworth, Kansas where he did his residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital. In 2010, Dr. Burkman opened his private practice in Smithville, Missouri.

Dr. Burkman believes in spending time with his patients so that he can truly get to know them and their medical condition. He loves working in a small town.

Dr. Burkman is the father of 5 children. He is an active member of his church, the local Rotary club, Smithville Chamber of Commerce and Boy Scouts. He also loves to go camping and horseback riding.
