Cash-strapped college students don't usually have the money to fix their broken phone, tablet, iPod, or laptop screens, or have the patience to go weeks with out these devices while they are being repaired. Aaron Shepherd cracked the screen of his HTC MyTouch 4G for the third time, just moments after paying $150 for a refurbished one from HTC, on top of the $8/month for insurance, and waiting a week to get it.

Aaron has always been a tinkerer, often disassembling electronics to see how they work and are assembled. So he decided to fix the phone himself, buying a new screen and parts from eBay. Aaron continued doing repairs for himself, as he refuses to use a case, and for his friends as a favor. After 3 years of working at a job taking him nowhere, he decided to start Cracked Up Mobile, LLC, a mobile device repair company in February 2013. Aaron still remains his most loyal and best customer, due to not using a case!

The majority of his business covers screen repair, battery replacement, color conversions, home/power button repair, and a buyback program for cracked or busted up phones.

Cracked Up Mobile provides quotes based on services, $60-$80 for phone repair, around $120 for tablet repair, and laptop repairs typically range from $120-$160.
