Holiday Inn Express Rochester West-Medical Center

I've traveled quite a bit for work, leisure, and school-I've stayed at nearly 100 hotels; I'd avoid this one. Management told me they couldn't charge me as 'they couldn't verify my ID' when I came back mid-ice storm for necessities to the front desk with my belongings except for my key and phone charger (any persons two most important items in a strange area). The manager then threatened me with an escort while a creepy staff member offered for me to 'pat me down' to search for your keys. Mid snow storm and patient care mind you. I was also accused of asking for a free room and then lied to my face about where my key where 'magically found' after the manager sent a ground person to lurk by my car after he'd clearly shoveled up my key (means to leave). Staff member then lied to my face as the tile must be sound proof as 'it must've fell out when you checked the room'. The only reason I needed to go to my room again was after staff saying everything was upfront and key and charger was not; nice touch they took the time to stretch my bag, disconnect cable clips, and stab one of my fluids I needed for my start the next day while hoping to leave between ice storms. I interacted with 4 people there and three of them lied to my face and intentionally entrapped me which is a felony. The manager was smiling as she threatened me then claimed she zeroed out the none-used charges because according to them they can't take my card but of course charges had to be disputed through my bank. I'd recommend anywhere else, frankly. Of the 100 I've stayed in, four stuck with me and can easily say second in line for not the way a person wants one to at all. I was then told they were happy to tow and charge me for the tow after stealing my keys. After they threatened an escort, I asked them to go ahead as they can track Bluetooth keys and within 30 seconds the 'pat me down girl' immediately had them back in my hands without even going back into the room. Interesting they kept want me out of the lobby to get their dishonesty and threats synced up first. Awful.

It was a nice stay but the breakfast was not very goof

This Holiday Inn Express gives us exactly what we are looking for in our travels--a clean and safe place to stay with a friendly staff. No drama. Check in is quick and easy. The same for check out. Comfortable and quiet rooms.

A shout out to Tamara for her efforts in going the extra mile to accommodate us and others during our stay. We appreciate her efforts and smiles.

Staff was friendly, quick check in and check out. Close to Mayo St. Mary's hospital.

None to complain about and a good experience overall. The lobby was clean and sumptuous breakfast

We were here for medical reasons but enjoyed the friendly staff, easy commute to the clinic and walking distance to dining options.
