Greenstar's Howell facility is located in Northwest Detroit, Michigan and specializes in the processing of aluminum cans, plastic bottles, corrugated containers and operation of one of the newest and most modern glass recycling facilities in the state. We have been in operation in Howell since the early eighties - providing innovative solutions to suit the needs of our local customers.

Greenstar is a recycling pioneer in the greater Detroit area. We were the first to provide automatic dumping and the first to create a patented bag compactor for loading trailers. These innovations have created significant savings for our customers through reduced freight and manual labor costs.

The operations are housed in a 15,000 square foot building on over five acres with automated trailer dumping systems, trailer docks and are known regionally for consistent movement of recyclable materials. Greenstar-Howell supplies its customers a variety of specialized recycling equipment unique to the Michigan deposit environment, as well as trailers.
