More About WEINGARTZ

Weingartz began in 1945 as a feed and farm supply store serving the families and farms in the areas surrounding Utica, Michigan. As the area changed, we brought in more power equipment to serve the new suburban neighborhoods. In the 1970's, the farm supplies were displaced to focus exclusively on outdoor power equipment. The business continued to grow and, in 1993, we opened our second location in Farmington Hills. This new venture introduced the "power equipment superstore" concept that is now the model for our stores. This includes large, clean showrooms, vast inventories of equipment and parts and large service facilities staffed with the foremost technical experts in our industry. This store concept coupled with our ongoing commitment to offer honest answers and advice from power equipment experts now defines all five of our locations in Michigan (Utica, Farmington Hills, Cedar Springs, Clarkston and Ann Arbor). Vision Weingartz has the highest respect of our customers, employees, owners and communities. We are viewed by our customers as their most valued supplier. Employees feel personally fulfilled as part of our organization. Owners are well rewarded for their investments. Those that are in need of spiritual enrichment or human necessities are cared for through our efforts. Mission Weingartz will set new standards in customer service with the innovative, customer-based thinking of our employees. Decisions will be based from the customer's perspective, using fair and ethical business practices. All employees are empowered and expected to make decisions that will improve the partnership that Weingartz has created with our customers. Core Purpose Weingartz will provide a healthy and profitable work environment for our employees; Create a robust, long-term sustainable business enterprise that is respected by employees, customers and the community; Return a respectable ROI to the shareholder/partners and provide financial assistance to those who would otherwise go without, either materially or spiritually. Competitive Advantage Weingartz understands their customers and is committed to investing more in that long-term relationship than anyone in the market. Core Values Our core values will guide all that we do and define who we are as a company and as individual employees. These values are: Integrity, Honesty, Service to Others, Expertise, Industriousness, Continuous Improvement, and Dependability. Thank You Weingartz remains wholly owned by the Weingartz family, and we are extremely grateful to the customers and communities that have supported us for the past 70 years. We commit to continually improve our operations to provide world-class service in an environment where it is increasingly difficult to find quality service. By doing this, Weingartz hopes to earn its customers' business for the next 70 years. Thank you for your continued support!
