Boston Fence is great! We wanted a fence with custom work. They said they could do it. They installed high quality cedar product with a great custom design. And when the custom work needed a few tweaks (after we made a design change), no sweat, they did it right! A few years later when we needed a fence driveway shortened, they did it right. Ten years after the first job, we wanted to add a backyard fence. They did it and it matches the custom original work!!! With the usual back and forth, their customer support was great, work product was fine, pricing was fair, and they were easy to work with. We highly recommend Boston Fence!

Extremely unprofessional!

I am writing this review as I directly witnessed Boston Fence & Vinyl's work and unprofessionalism. My sister & her husband recently had Boston Fence & Vinyl install a $12,000 dollar fence. 1st of all the original quote was $2000 dollars less than the actual cost. Which they paid with no issue. 2ndly the latches on the gate were installed incorrectly from the customer request. 3rdly the customer service is a joke. They promised my sister for 3 weeks someone would get back to her and resolve this. Finally when Frank the manager was reached he was unprofessional and rude. I was present for the multiple phone calls to this company & witnessed the lack of knowledge and unprofessional comments made by Frank & the staff. My family paid this company $12,000 dollars for this fence and they won't even come out and re-adjust a small section so that it would be closer to the ground. You'd think a fence was put up to either keep something in or keep something out. When there is a gap from the bottom of the fence and the ground then there really isn't a need for a fence. This company doesn't hold up on their end of the contact and I would suggest hiring anyone else but Boston Fence & Vinyl.

There are a lot of options for reputable Fence companies in this area, and id urge anyone reading this to use another one if you're looking to have the job done right.

The quote was done wrong and came in $2,000 higher than quoted. Fine we paid. The latches were installed backwards from the way requested. FIne we paid. The gate was installed wrong. They promised they'd come out to look at it and fix it. None of these "challenges" were mentioned during their quote.

3 weeks of promises. with a difference excuse from 4 different people each time and promises of future call backs that were never made. Finally, Frank, their manager, should work in any field that doesn't have to deal with people. Rude, unprofessional, and just generally not an educated person. $12,000 is a lot of money for most people for a fence. You pay professionals, like Frank, to get the job done properly. When small issues arise, a manager should take them seriously and work with people to make them right. Frank's quote of "I dont care if you paid $100.000" and "you're trying to get a pound of flesh from me" should really illustrate to anyone reading this thinking about using Boston Fence exactly what kind of company you are dealing with.

Frank doenst care if the fence was installed improperly. And Frank doesnt care that you paid $100,000. Thankfully, I know a lot of people in this area. I work in a field that deals with contractors and homeowners looking for Fences all the time. And I cant wait to tell every single one of them what kind of company Boston Fence is.

As I stated in a previous review, I would give this company zero stars if it was an option. After spending twelve thousand dollars on a fence where the gate was not installed as discussed, Boston fence ducked my phone calls and emails about returning to fix the gate properly. It has been weeks and they have still not giving me date to return and finish the gate properly. As I called to speak to the owner about my concerns not being handle by his staff correctly he told me I was tying up his phone line and hung up on me.

I would give zero stars if it was an option
