Add ReviewI have had an ongoing business relationship with Capital Linguists for over 3 years. They are my go-to for any of my translation and transcription needs for all European languages, in particular French, German, Spanish, and Italian.Report
My work requires that materials be translated from English into several other EU languages. They are quick to respond when I need them and always deliver on time and the quality of their translations has always exceeded my expectations.
They are great people to work with as well. I look forward to continuing to do business with them for a long time to come, and highly recommend them to others who are looking for print-ready translations.
A great translation agency in Washington DC to partner with. Their interpreters and translators are available in a variety of languages and can be available at any moment.Report

Over Price, greedy and unprofessional!Report
I'm going thru the foreign architect path where NCARB requested my foreign original transcript to be translated and send it back to them in the sealed envelop from the translation company, alone with the course-outline and the curriculum.
The university provided the course-outline in english but the original transcript in Spanish. Mr.Philip quote me $250 for two pages transcript, to be translated and notarized. He asked me to send the pdf of the course-outline to attached to the document.
once I sent it, he replied:
"I'm sorry but we have decided not to take your order. We can only provide you with a certified translation, not print this out and mail it for you"
I guess that he is not willing to print a few pages that are required and need it for the process because the $250 for two pages was not enough money. Philip I was willing to mail you the course-outline or pay for you services since it was something needed.
Thank you for nothing! you have lost one client and all my referrals. Is bad to be greedy Mr. Philip.you have wasted my time!
AN UPDATE:
After I left this review Mr. Philip Called me to tell me that he can do it for $300 and I also have to remove the review(so it is about money also, if I'm committing a fraud, how come you can make it for mor money?). I told him I was no logger interested in his business. He told me he can suit me for this review (for saying the truth Mr. Philip? Go ahead). he also threat me saying that he will report me to the Architect board if i don't delete the review.
See attached picture for his threat text of calling the NCARB if i don't remove the review (this can tell you how professional this company is). to proof that he is a liar, I also attached the document requested to me from NCARB, asking me if the university outside from the USA was not able to translate the document, the translation company must sent it to them directly or I can send a original sealed envelop that I got from the translation company if they refuse to send it to them directly.
This company refused my request of sending the original document by mail to them. So how can you testify that you are translating an authentic original document or better yet, how can you notarized it without having the original in your hands? I think you guys are the one doing questionable business here.Re: Over Price, greedy and un ... Capital Linguists replied on Monday, March 16th 2020This client is going around asking others to commit fraud. Capital Linguists is an ethical company she was asking for something unethical bordering on illegal to be done. Therefore, we decided to decline her business.
I enjoy working with Capital Linguists. They often provide a large amount of work and pay on time.Report

We rented their equipment for use at our church and were very satisfied, great price and service. They answered our inquiry right away, delivered the equipment on time, and also sent someone to make sure that we knew how to properly use it. We highly recommend them.ReportRe: We rented their equipment ... Capital Linguists replied on Wednesday, February 12th 2020Thank you so much Joe for using our interpreting equipment.
