About
Starting in 2001 in anticipation of my retirement from the US Government, I built on 1980s and 1990s part-time experience with Super 8mm film and early “portable” video camcorders, and took advantage of newer technologies to launch That Video Guy. My daughter had recently gotten married and I placed high value on the role of video in saving memories. As a retiree, it was never my intent to grow a large business with multiple employees; I wanted to express my creativity in a personal way throughout. I look forward to sharing the happiness of friends and family coming together for special events. More recently, I’ve added some commercial work.
