Baltimore Certified Movers

I used Baltimore Certified Movers (443) 692-8962 for my relocation & I was very happy with the service they provided me. They were upfront with their services & costs etc, although they were not the cheapest company out there but it was very well worth every penny spent. The movers were on time, professional, & my price did not change with them. I would definitely use them again & refer all my friends & family if they are ever in need for a out of state move. We hadn't moved since post-college days, over twenty years ago, and had plenty of trepidations, thanks to hearing plenty of mover-horror stories. Baltimore Certified Movers was located through an internet site (http://www.yourmovingday.com). After phone calls to 6 or 7 movers, three were invited to provide a (free) estimate; Baltimore Certified Movers pricing came in the middle, but their representative was a good deal more thorough, and the estimate more detailed, than the others. Because of closing problems, we changed the moving date three times. Every change was quick and easy. We were moving a two-bedroom apartment, bursting at the Baltimore Certified Movers with books (over 80 boxes thereof) from an elevator building in Manhattan to one in San Diego. The move was scheduled to begin at 9-11 AM and estimated to take about 10 hours. Baltimore Certified Movers arrived at 8 AM. They were willing to wait an hour, but as luck would have it, for the first time in five years, the elevator was out of order. The apartment was on the third floor, and the super, wringing his hands, promised to get the elevator working as soon as possible, so the move began. Twelve hours later, it was finished. The elevator started working after the apartment was all but empty. The truck was not finally loaded until after 3 o'clock. I drove off to the airport fully expecting to hear that the movers had decided to quit for the day and deliver our goods next month (lol), but no, they arrived 10 days later and finished the move. Except for some prodding by the head of the crew that a generous tip would be in order ("This was big job, Harold"--and it was), there were no attempts to jack up the price because of the elevator, and no charge for the 8-9 hour. Despite all, the final cost was within $50 of the estimate. Fragile goods were well packed and there was little or no damage. A few small things have not yet been located, but there were no major losses. 5 stars from me!

Class Act, Excellent service, units are always clean, employees are pleasant and cheerful and always will to work with you on late payments. I like that they are willing to work with me on my payment if I need to wait a few days until I get paid. Family owned and operated business. Thanks Baltimore Certified Movers!

Baltimore Certified Movers is really everything I'd expect from a moving company: fast, polite and well run. The showed up for my move right on time, which was really appreciated because I had to return to Florida specifically for my move. The shipment itself was fast, and they did a great job of assuaging my nerves along the way. The entire shipment was delivered on schedule, without any problems. Definitely going with Baltimore Certified Movers the next time I move.

They were friendly over the phone and in person when the moving crew showed up; even though it was over 100 degrees, they didn't slow down or show any signs of wear. The move was a big one and we ordered full packing and unpacking service which they called white glove service and we HIGHLY recommend that service if you can. In our new home there were a few issues due to the parking and streets, their truck which was huge could not fit or even get within any reasonable walking distance had to park several miles away at a shopping center and they had to rent a smaller truck from Budget in order to deliver our furniture and boxes. They told us from the start that it may be a problem but we hoped and prayed for the best. The rental and parking situation put our delivery back a full day and even though their dispatcher Steven had already reserved a back-up rental, when James arrived to pick it up, they informed him that they didn't have it available and apologized and his dispatch then had to hunt down another rental truck which took hours and then finding a place to park this tremendous truck and trailer took another hour or so. We decided due to the size of our shipment to just start the next morning early instead of starting at 4:00 in the afternoon. No other hitches or delays or damages from then on. We appreciate everything their stuff did for us to alleviate any stresses associated with moving. They did an outstanding job and we will refer many other families to them. All in all great service, cheap rates, friendly customer service and very professional movers!
