Holiday Inn French Quarter-Chateau LeMoyne

Decent hotel. Great location and hospitality. Sub par front desk service. Never stayed at a hotel where housekeeping leaves at 5pm for the day! Had to fill out a card 24hrs prior to request room cleaning. Shouldn't that be done every day...unless the sign is on the door handle not to? The hallways were freezing all the time. Had to take extra towels and wash cloths from the housekeeping carts in the hallways to make up for clean ones not being provided daily. The kicker was the sharp object found in the stitching of my wash cloth. Couldn't figure out why it was scratching me, thinking it was just cheap and rough material until it became sharp and stabbing. To my surprise, there was a piece of pointed metal protruding from the stitched fold. I pulled it out and not only took pictures but promptly alerted the front desk. Of course there was nothing they could do because housekeeping was gone for the day. I could've seriously hurt myself and yet they weren't even remotely concerned. The rates were definitely not worth it. A picture is definitely worth a thousand words because it looked nothing like the pictures online.

The hotel is centrally located in French Quarter. I found the location to be very convenient and a reasonable price for NOLA. The hotel and room were clean (could use a little dusting in the room - 332), the staff attentive, and the property well maintained. We flew in and took an Uber to and from the hotel. There is no need to rent a car. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was relaxing. However, I found the chairs to be uncomfortable, and I would have preferred some type of breakfast provided. Overall, I would recommend this hotel when staying in the French Quarter.

Poor experience. . Charged for something we should not have been. . Took many emails and calls to resolve.

Good experience ?friendly staff and nice services . However, if you call Uber to the hotel pick you up, it would be tricky. Always call first and send the hotel address in message to them separately. The hotel staff helped me during my stay. It is a little not convenient.

I love the location of this hotel. It is so centrally located. It is so easy to return to after a late night out on Bourbon Street. We stayed in room 432. Be aware that the internet connection in this room is problematic. There is no reception when you are on the sofa, sitting by the the desk, or laying in bed. The reception was okay near the entry door or the bathroom.

Arriving to dirty sheets with stains and hair, manager came up w a helper, sniffling with mask down as we were clearly wearing ours. I had to ask her if she was sick hoping she would get the hint , she continued to make our bed while sniffling over it , only to find the second set of sheets was dirty too. 3rd time was better. Never returning.

This hotel was amazing. I highly recommend you stay here. From the front desk staff, all the way to valet are the nicest people. Eddie and the other security guard were amazing and so nice with recommendations of where to eat and go. The room was clean and beautiful. My husband and I will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Location is great. Street is relatively quite. Little noise in rooms. Pool is ok. Other amenities are few and far between.
