Barbara is a ninth generation descendant of Francois Derbanne, a French Canadian, who was the paymaster and store keeper at the French Fort St. Jean Baptiste in 1714. She is the primary tour guide of her team of professional tour guides in this French Colonial city, the oldest in the Louisiana Purchase Territory. We love to tell the stories and share this enchanted place with visitors.
