MORE ABOUT WIX HI-HO Silver, Away! 2014 marks the 25th silver anniversary of the opening of Wix Water Works in Allison Iowa. With continued good business practices (and a little luck) we are on our way to a 50th golden anniversary. In the spring of 1989, hometown boy Bill Wix opened a water conditioning business that he called Wix Water Works. For the 8 years previous to this, Bill worked for another water conditioning business. Deciding to take "the plunge" and start his own business was a major event in his life. Over the years Bill has had a few different employees but at the current time he employs his son, Robert; nephew, Shane Carlson; and administrative assistant, Susan Rewerts. Robert grew up in the business and after his high school graduation in 2000, became a full time employee. Shane has been on board since June of 2010; while Susan has been with Wix Water Works for the past 22 years. The staff at Wix Water Works is made up of friendly, competent workers with the best interests of their customers in mind. Honesty and dedication to our client's water needs is our utmost responsibility. Wix Water Works is happy to service both residential and commercial operations. We provide sales and rentals of water softeners, water coolers, iron filters, reverse osmosis drinking water systems, ultraviolet lights, and chemical feed systems.
