A very nice place to spend a few days close to campus.

I had a great stay while in town, visiting with my family. I had no real concerns but the bath tub wall was cracked and the toilet valve was pretty scuzzy. Also, I don't know why I was charged more than my kids were, while they had 2/room and I was alone?
Everything else was wonderful!

The room was not very clean and it smelt like skunk. Brought it up to the front desk right away and nothing was taken care of.

I was given a key to a room which already had people in the room, the next room has bugs in the bathroom and the third room had dirty wet towels in the bathroom and smelled like mild. Do not recommend.

Charging me three times the rate that was quoted on the phone was the first strike.  When I politely pursued the discrepancy, asking the hotel to check the voice recording, I was told it would be 24-48 hours until I would be called back.  They never called back.  I called back in multiple times, each time told I was a valued customer and they would call me back.  Never happened.  Finally in one call at least a week after my complaint, they said they had listened to the booking call and I was wrong.  I reiterated that if I was wrong I would be happy to pay the full amount.  "We can't share the recording".    I said I was not wanting to have it shared, I wanted them to play it for me to show me I was wrong.  They refused.  At this point this is just robbery.  They have admitted that they have the call where I reserved the room, tell me that it says something other than what I remember double-checking IN THAT CALL, and I should be happy to pay them an extra $800 because they say so.

Positive: location near Purdue Negative: the room was very poorly maintained - bathtub was in terrible condition with huge patch of material lifted off near drain, hair in shower from previous occupant, sagging bed. ugh! we have stayed at this same hotel many times in past but no more.

For the high price per night, breakfast should be included or at least clearly stated that it is $13 a person. When we checked in, we were told, "Breakfast is served until 10am." I double checked the IHG Hotels' website where it stated that IHG Hotels included a complimentary breakfast. Apparently, this hotel is an exception. Then, when we went back up to our room to make coffee there was only decaf. I called the front desk to see if they had regular and they said I would have to come back downstairs to get it. Little things mean a lot and this hotel misses the mark.
