Ponds Hilo

It's great that Hilo has a restaurant with a fine dining menu, yet the locals still can get in dressed super casual (although one lady in her home-looking shorts should think twice). Ponds Hilo is very relaxing, has a good menu selection and wonderful service. I had Walu fish with a Kona coffee sauce. It was very good. We also had a deep fried mushroom appetizer and a brie appetizer – both were excellent. While some place like to cut back, Ponds all-inclusive dinners with soup and salad give terrific value for your dollar. The owners are passionate about food quality and customer service. This place has a great future ahead for itself. Be sure to get a peek at the koi fish pond.
