Georgia Music Warehouse

I was happy to see there was another music store in Savannah. I rushed to check it out. It is a small store without a large selection. I asked about a guitar pedal I was looking for and the did not have it, but said they could order it at for a great price. I said order it. I checked in two weeks later and it was on back order. I checked in after another two weeks and still no pedal. I was given another excuse.

What happened here ?? I come to Savannah 4 or 5 times each year to visit family. We always eat at our favorite restaurants, go to our favorite clubs, and shop at our favorite stores. Georgia Music Warehouse used to - I emphasize used to - be one of our favorites. The store is lacking in energy and atmosphere. There are new people who don't know diddly about how to satisfy a customer, and they're not allowed to do a special order anymore? Bring the old crew back, it's not a store for real musicians anymore. So disappointing, we won't be back.

Thank God for Georgia Music Warehouse. I purchased my guitar from Chris and couldn't be happier. Unlike their competitor down the road, Chris and the entire staff are professional musicians that really know their stuff. They are caring, take the time to explain things clearly, and blow away Portmans in price for the same item. I also now will only rent my band instruments from GMW as well. They have far superior instruments at much lower prices. What else could you want form a retail store? I've told many of my friends about this store and pretty much all of them rent their band instruments from Vicky and Andreas at GMW. Keep up the GREAT work guys.
