"Where do I even begin with this place!? My boyfriend and I moved from Ohio to Georgia to attend Life University and major in Chiropractics. The school is awesome! We love our classes and professors. The on campus housing, however, sucks. We pay roughly $1300 a month ($660 per person) to stay in a VERY TINY area. Seriously?! I'm a college student on a waitress salary. The noise travels like crazy. We hear our neighbors above us constantly. They stomp and play music and there's nothing we can do at all. The "furniture" provided sucks. The bed is more like a gym mat. Someone in the parking garage flung their door open and dented my car too. (THANKS!) There's also no wi-fi offered. And the lease is "unbreakable" unless you find someone to move in in your place. UGH. Counting down the days until we can move out!!"

"were do i begin. they set u up blindly with a first one was a homosexual, the 2nd one moved out after 1 quarter b/c it was too expensive. And the third one is HORRIBLE. there is no privacy at all. walls are thin. maintenance takes wayyy tooo long to fix anything. speaking to Allen downstairs is like speaking to a wall who wont listen. Its very nice being walking distance from class but the rent is wayyyyy too high. They say they include utilities up to a certain % but thats BS cus i was paying too much so i decided to not use lights, ac, or dishwasher for a month and somehow i STILL went 15 dollars over. fishy huh? ive had mail stolen, the leasing department makes up imaginary fines when they dont like something going on---then you proceed to show them your contract and they quickly shut up. Dorthy, who works in the retreat is horrible. Very invasive and rude. they treat everyone like your 18. Listen overall, this place is great if your undergad, right outta highschool and looking to stay close to school since you dont know the area for about 6 months. after that is way tooooo pricy for what your getting. "Honestly, this place is not an apartment. It is student dormitories that just so happens to have some families living here. There is no real privacy from your roommate. Even when you close your door, the walls are thin enough for them to hear you breathing. The bed is just plain awful. It is very stiff springs that mess up your back really bad. The room is big enough for one person to live there comfortably and the bathroom is more than big enough for most anybody. The kitchen is cramped and the living area is decent (the couch is more comfortable than the beds). The entire apartment collects dust like I have never seen. I dust 3 times a week and still have dust everywhere (really bad for people with sinus problems like me). The water is gross. It is almost milky in appearance it is so hard. When you drink it you can literally taste the metals. The staff is not friendly and really not very helpful. They also don't cash checks in a timely manner. It took them 5 weeks to cash a rent check from me. Also, the mail service that they have (United States Postal Solutions not USPS) has been stealing peoples mail. I personally have had 3 birthday cards all with money stolen. Nobody did anything about it. I had to contact the Postmaster General myself to get the problem "resolved". The worst part about this place is how hard it is to get a decent roommate. I went in blind and got a roommate that is a the worst roommate of all time. I went in and asked to change roommates and they said it isn't possible to switch unless we do counseling. All in all the only nice things are the size of the bathroom and the fact that it is close to campus. I am breaking my contract next month to pay less to live in a nicer place. Do not live here if you can help it."

"Life's Village Retreat is pure ghetto! The walls are too thin till the point of where you can hear your neighbors having sex. The hallways are constantly filled with the smell of marijuana; Certain people in the leasing office are rude in their own little way, for example just by the way they look at you with their noses stuck up in the air. Also, they do not work with the students and they lied about the water and electricity that was included in the rent when I first moved here. These apartments are too expensive for any college student that is trying to make it . A 1 bed-room is $755.00 a month; a two-bedroom is $600.00 per person/per room; the closet is small; the bed is hard, the wooden floors attract too much dust and the walls and doors of the entire building are plastic (thin). People are too nosy. They will stand by your door without you knowing about it and listen to your conversations and spread your business within less than 24 hours throughout the Life University campus. People constantly leave their doors open with loud music while others are trying to sleep or study. The maintenance always nearly has an attitude when you request him to fix the common issues any apartment has. For instance, I requested that maintenance come fix a leak on the side of my bathtub on the wall and he examined the issue, but never fixed it. It is so not worth it people, if you ever come across this campus, just keep going please! Hey, I'm doin you guys a favor! "
