About Mauricio Tijerino DMD

Dr. Mauricio C. Tijerino attended The University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL where he obtained his D.M.D. degree. He graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of his class. He then completed a General Practice and Hospital Dentistry Residency at The University of Alabama, Birmingham. He has continued his education by attending the world renowned Pankey Institute for advanced dental education in Key Biscayne, FL., and The Spear Center for Dental Education. He has completed a two year hands-on continuing education course on dental implants. Also he is an Invisalign Certified Preferred Provider. Dr. Tijerino's yearly continuing education credits far exceeds the minimun state requirements. He focuses his continuing education on aesthetics, full mouth rehabilitation, and dental implant reconstructions. Dr. Tijerino has now been practicing dentistry full time for eleven years.
