We are a family run business owning this store for 10 year now (since 1999). My mother is Korean and makes kimchi and bulgogi from scratch along with a few other side dishes. My father is retired from the Air Force and has learned a great deal about Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese foods. I joined them full time at the store once it was determined they would be moving to a bigger location. That move ended up taking 3 years, but here we are now.
We sell foods from Korea, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, and some from Vietnam, Indonesia, & China. We moved to a bigger location in June 2008 and we're still working on expanding it. Some of our most popular items are sushi supplies (food and dishes), Filipino bakery items like Goldilocks and fresh pandesal from a local bakery, Japanese confections (Pocky, Kasugai Gummy, Hi-Chew), and lots of fish. We do get fresh fish 1-2 times a week and will be expanding our meat selection once our final expansion is complete (late 2009 or early 2010).
