Horizon Laboratory sends highly specialized tests to Mayo Medical Laboratories, the reference lab for Mayo Clinic. As a distinctive leader in the field of specialized testing, Mayo offers consultation with its physicians and scientists.

Horizon Laboratory performs reference testing for our sister Banner Health hospitals in California, Nebraska, Nevada and Wyoming.

Patients visit local hospitals to have their lab specimen collected. The specimen is either tested at the local hospital laboratory or sent on to Horizon Laboratory. Lab results for both the local hospital and Horizon are resulted out in our Banner Health hospital system.

Our highly trained staff consists of more than 140 laboratory personnel including business associates, medical technologists, phlebotomists, and lab assistants dedicated to providing timely information essential to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
