Formal medical school and psychiatric training has equipped me with the necessary skills to focus on helping others understand their behavioral patterns, identify and restructure maladaptive thinking, gain clarity regarding inner emotional processes, interact with their environment in healthier ways, proceed through life transitions, cope with stress, and break cycles of repetitive unproductive thought patterns.
It is my goal to continue to assist patients in better understanding themselves and their life situations, identifying aspects of their life and thought patterns which they can change while focusing on their strengths, fostering self-esteem, and accepting themselves as whole people.
Both medications and psychotherapy are frequently incorporated into treatment plans to support patients on their paths to improved well-being. I believe every person has inherent potential to heal and the power to create a healthier and more balanced reality.
