They say that cooking and creating feasts tends to run in families or be our heritage and so it is with the Bigotti family. From their Tuscan roots in Italy to the first family italian restaurant in Oakland in 1974, Marcello, their is a long history of luscious food preparation and the warmth of Italian cooking. Marcello's was a very successful Oakland restaurant, the restaurant later moved to Orinda for years where it held wide acclaim and then to Danville, where if finally closed it's doors to the disappointment to all who loved their food.
