"I've used many collection agencies in the past and RBA definitely sticks out among the masses. They gave me a customer service rep to contact when I want updates, etc. I have a rep working on my cases and their is a high level of personalization between me and the company. I like that, a lot actually. They also recover a high % of the funds. "

" BEWARE ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS of this SCAM- COMPLETE SCAM COMPANY!!!! ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE LIKELY WRITTEN BY THEM!!! OVER 450 BBB ONLINE COMPLAINTS UNDER THEIR VARIOUS DBA'S: Forensic Case Management Svcs, Commercial Investigations, Inc, Rumson, Bolling & Associates, Specialized Recovery, Joseph, Steven & Associates, Forensic Forwarder. They will do a good job at first, then require "attorney fees" but will not actually file a lawsuit on your behalf. When you ask for your money back a year later they will hang up on you, lie to you, threaten you, claim you have to pay them 10% of the dollar amt of the accounts you sent over, etc! They will bounce checks to you and collect from YOUR DEBTORS for pennies on the dollar and not report the collection to you!!! If you have been scammed by this company contact immediately the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office, the ftc, The CA attorney general, and the CA State Bar Association against their licensed attorney who is a part owner, Randy Chang lic# 237618. "On the behalf of my staff and I, we would like to express our gratitude on helping our company with our account receivables collection issues. We have used other collection agencies and various attorneys in the past to take care of our complicated collection issues. With some unsuccessful efforts of collection agencies and due to the high cost of attorneys this resulted in minimal results. Our company used RBA's forwarding fee contract for the extra fee it allowed our company to have full access to RBA's resources including sending debtors into litigation. RBA accomplished more in a month with our accounts receivable collections than any collection agency or attorney did over the course of a year. The communication between RBA and our company has been impeccable and the professionalism of their staff is very impressive. Again we just want to give thanks again for the great service you provided us with and we look forward to continuing our business relationship."

"Rumson, Bolling & Associates helped me with two stubborn ex-clients of mine. These guys refused to pay even though my company did exceptional work for them. I had made several phone calls and attempts to reason with them and get some kind of payment on these invoices. They tried to say I did fraudulent work, then they one said that our work was not up to standards, etc. I did my absolute best I could but I needed help. I contacted the staff at RBA to help me collect on these two cases of mine. Because of the circumstances I decided to sign onto RBA’s forwarding fee contract, I got to send 4 cases of mine into litigation for about $3,000. RBA was extremely tough on my debtors, I could tell by the hateful voicemails I received because I was trying to collect on previous clients of mine. RBA was extremely stern on my position to get money back and they did just that. RBA is taking one client to litigation. RBA has done exactly as they said they would and I would love to continue using them in the future. "

"I contacted Rumson, Bolling & Associates about a debt letter that was sent to me. I got some flak from some of their staff, so I turned to my lawyer and we disputed the debt. The RBA staff were pretty tough and aggressive however they did not break any laws or over cross any boundaries. To be honest, I really liked what I saw from Rumson, Bolling & Associates, I contacted their staff in order to get some accounts collected on. They offered me standard contingency type collection contract or I could sign on to one of their premier services, an up front fee, forwarding fee or something. The fee would cover extraneous collection costs, litigation fees as well as anything else. I signed up for a contract and sent 3 invoices and the appropriate documents with them. Things seem to be going successful, however I will make an update when everything is said and done. "

"Rumson, Bolling & Associates offered competitive rates and solid service to my company. They seemed to work diligently on the accounts as I started to receive phone calls from my previous debtors. RBA did the work we agreed upon, and their was no violation of contract. I would recommend them if you are looking for a no non sense collection agency. "

"There is something wrong with this company. I do beleive they may be scamers and not truly fair in their dealings. Every request for documentation from them,is never sent. You also can never speak to the same person, you get put on the phone with yet another person. You are told. "Oh they are in a meeting". Yeah, right. They kept sending the same old threatening letters, no matter how much money you send them. They do not explain what the added fee's are, added to what they say you owe. They just add them on. I have requested an explantion , Only I have yet to get an answer, never once explaining. You try to comply, do what they tell you to do, and still, they do not send you any thing in writing, but yet another threatening letter. Is this all part of the game they play? If so, then why? "

"Convinced that they're scammers. Ask them WHO Mr. Rumson and Mr. Bolling are. The fact is: There is NO Mr. Rumson nor a Mr. Bolling. Any reputable company would gladly share the background of its founding partners but if you go to their website or call them, they will not tell you. Shouldn't this alert you that something is amiss? "we hired Rumson & Bolling on 4/1/2009, sending them a check for 500.00 to proceed with collections on a company in another state, as to this date 6/4/09, we have received a letter from R & B stating that they have not received payment from us and further after proving that they had the check and cashed the check they told us that it was not enough money to pursue the case. I have called and emailed. They do not return any calls and have hung up on me to. I do not know the name of the attorney that they are affiliated with and I would like to register a complaint with the bar association as well, if I had the attorneys name. "
