One of the things I love the most about being a therapist is being able to see the transformation in my clients who have moved from feeling consumed with anxiety, self criticism and unhappiness to a place of seeing how valuable they are, and feeling balanced and content. It is such a joy to empower people to create and keep healthy relationships with themselves and their loved ones, and to see how that causes them to spread more joy, love and connection in the world.

I've worked as a therapist, counseling teens and adults at Gunn High School, Simmons College (Boston), The Santa Clara County Suicide and Crisis Hotline, and Almaden Valley Counseling Services. I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have specialized Level I and II training in EMDR, and am listed in the EMDR International Association's (EMDRIA's) therapist directory. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFC #4766
