About Ignite Coffee Company

Ignite Coffee Company was founded in 2018 by Tyler Whitehead, an Oceanside native, and full time Business Management student at San Diego State University in Southern California.

As a full time college student, Tyler finds refuge at the quaint and eclectic coffee hubs nestled along the California coast. He believes that the countless hours spent writing papers, doing homework and studying are made easier when surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a coffee shop and a quality cup of coffee!

His love of entrepreneurship was inspired by his Dad, owner and operator of the award-winning restaurant, Ty's Burger House, in Oceanside, California. Taking the entrepreneurial “bull by the horns”, Tyler managed to turn his dream into a reality in the Fall of 2018. After researching coffee bean origins, roasting and brewing processes, and everything in between, Ignite Coffee Company was born.

Tyler is committed to creating a community where you can pull up a chair and ignite your passions, all centered around a humble (and kickass!) cup of coffee.
