Candlewood Suites Orange County/Irvine Spectrum

Stayed one night, needed a place to sleep for the night. Great location. The place looked clean. But the night's sleep was not to be had. The bed sagged, pillows caused pain in the neck, noisy refrigerator, could hear people walking in the upstairs room, warm air blowing in from somewhere even though we turned heater OFF. Trash in kitchen trash can was not cleaned. Room was 113.

Sonesta Simply Suites in Irvine Ca. Is the best, from the staff to the rooms its top notch. They even have free washers and dryers, snack shop and fitness center all open 24 hrs. We were only reserved for one night but decided to stay 3 nights because we love the room. The room came equipped with a kitchen, full size fridge, stove, Microwave, dishwasher, toaster and all the kitchen necessities, silverware, pots and pans, dishes, etc all we needed to add was the food. The room was spacious, full size closet, iron, ironing board and laundry basket. The bathroom was nice and large which included body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The bed was to die for very comfortable and nice bedding. I will definitely stay here again and I will refer anyone to stay here. 5 stars.

I stayed here for a few months when I moved to the area. Marcellus and Ashley are not your normal Shift Managers and will - without a doubt - make you feel like you are the only guest. Even though there were over a hundred rooms, I felt like I was the only resident in the place. My company now does business here and enjoys the professional staff. GREAT VALUE!

The room was old and not clean at all but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were so impressed! My family normally uses Extended Stay hotels but they had began feeling more and more dirty. I found this one weeks ago while planning a trip. Immensely better in so many ways. So spacious, kitchen plates, cups, cookware available, separate bedroom (kids were able to sleep in living on pull out sofa), and the cleanliness was amazing. They even had remote controls wrapped in disposable plastic (which is great because my 1 yr old sneezed on it like 3x!?). Front desk was very friendly as well, would definitely recommend this place. Sonesta is all we'll be using from now on!

I had the unfortunate experience of suffering bed big bites during my stay. I am a critical care nurse deployed to a local ICU as part of a COVID crisis response. I moved out immediately after being diagnosed per my health care provider. I notified the manager on duty of the circumstances surrounding my early check out. She offered to call with the results of my room inspection. Now, six months after the event, not only has Sonesta repeatedly ignored my requests to disclose my room inspection report, the General Manager, Brenda has stopped responding. I was notified by a claims adjuster with Broadspire that I'd been assigned a case number. He has also failed to return any calls or emails. I have repeatedly requested alternative contact options to follow up with, none have been provided. To be clear, I am being persistent about my complaint due to Sonesta's evasiveness and persistent failure to address a PUBLIC HEALTH concern. I have waited this long to post a negative review in good faith that Sonesta would take my complaint seriously and remediate the situation for the well-being of their other guests. They have not. Please protect yourself and find another hotel.
