"il Boccaccio has interesting italian regional cuisine specials for only $19.95 for a 3 course dinner. I had the Tuscany Dinner, which is served every Monday. Excellent. A Great value for real gourmet cuisine. il Boccaccio has a nice feeling and very friendly staff. Joesph, the owner is usually there and is a very interesting person who seems to know everything about Italian food. I found out he has cooking classes on Saturday, might have to check that out. the dinner started with Crostini di Fegatini alla Salvia which is Grilled Bread with Sage and Chicken Liver Pate. - Very nice they use a delicious bread and it was just crispy enough. Next was Papa al Pomodoro - Traditional fresh tomato & bread soup The Fresh part really stands out - a really fresh flavor and last but not least, Braciole con Fagioli - Braised rolled Beef with beans. this also had spinach, I really wish I knew what they do to the spinach, I mostly like spinach but sometimes it has a kind of an acidy taste. not so here, it was succulent and smooth in flavor. The beef did not even need a knife and had a rich roast beef kind of flavor. The 3 courses is a complete meal, I am not a small person and left there having plenty to eat and loved it. Tuesday is Emilia Romanga Wednesday is Venezia Thursday is Liguria"
