More About Nakano Stephen K DC

Stephen Nakano is a Gardena chiropractor who serves Gardena and the surrounding communities in CA . Dr. Nakano is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where he received a bachelor of science in Biology. After which, he went to chiropractic college in Sunnyvale, California where he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic- West. Dr. Nakano graduated chiropractic college in 1989, and was fortunate to practice with his father for 5 years before his passing in 1995. He has been actively involved in the California Chiropractic Association where he has served in various capacities such as secretary, treasurer, vice- president and president of his local chapter. Additionally, he acted as a member of the California Chiropractic Association's (CCA) Board of Directors for 6 years. He has been a member of the NUCCA organization for many years following in the footsteps of his father who was one of the original members of the organization which was founded in 1966. He has been an active member of NUCCA for many years serving on several committees such as NUCCA's education committee (since 1999) and also served as chairman of NUCCA's finance committee. He has currently reached his second level of certification and is pursuing the final stage in the certification process. The focus of NUCCA chiropractic is on a small misalignment of a boney structure that connects the head and the neck, a condition that is called the atlas subluxation complex. This misalignment can block the communication between your brain and the rest of your body resulting in pain, stress, tension and overall physical and emotional manifestations. After precise x-ray analysis, a three dimensional mathematical portrait of where your head, atlas (the first vertebra), and the rest of your neck is in space is created. This tells me what is needed to correct your misalignment and "put your head back on straight."
