Holiday Inn Bakersfield

Great place! Very clean room and bathroom. Staff was also very nice.

Though the room needs much updating and remodeling, it was comforting and relaxing...very quiet (which I loved)...well lit parking lot...
was not informed about lack of housekeeping services, so there was no trash pick-up nor towel exchange during that time... but had enough towels in the room to get through my stay...only working ice machine was on the 4th floor...Over all, I would still recommend this property...

Fue una estadía placentera, encontré parking enfrente del edificio no tuve que caminar tanto, también cabe destacar que el baño estaba limpio y bien presentado. La cama era buena (no la mejor) pero pude descansar

Our room was fairly clean however was very worn and dated. The refrigerator had many dings and scratches. The lamps were dusty. The couches and chairs were stained. The shower had a very large crack running across multiple tiles. There were stains and patches on the walls. Moldy shower and a very bothersome fly in our room upon arrival; I'm not sure how this happened when we were on the 4th floor. No free breakfast. The hotel was average. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

During my stay at this property was great no issues with room or billing. Breakfast area can be a little better. I didn't appreciate a cup of orange juice costing $6.25 but other than that everything else was great.

Not sure who is reading reviews but based on my stay on November 22, 2021. This place is old and dirty. My room had no soap or shampoo. The carpet smelled and was disgusting. The furniture was super dirty to the point that I would not feel comfortable sitting on the sofa or chair.

I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here for 3 nights and it was peaceful and to the highest standards of my expectations...they do a great job.

To start off it smells like someone was smoking in there and they sprayed it down so it would go away. Secondly the toilet handle did not work if you flushed it once the handle to be put back in place manually or it wouldn't build up water to flush again. Thirdly the ice machine did not work in second floor had to go to the fourth floor to be able to get ice. And fourth which isn't really your fault is location it is real sketchy there. Someone tried breaking into a truck in the parking lot.
