We are a Alaska native owned Co-operative of knitters that hand knit qiviut (pronounced KIV-EE-UTe) the downy soft under wool of the Arctic Musk Ox. Â They hand knit hats, scarves, stoles, headbands, and the more traditional garment called a nachaq, or smokering in English. Â The idea behind the co-op is to give the people living in the remote villages of Alaska a chance to earn a supplemental income through knitting.
Several different village patterns of scarves, and smokerings. Â Several styles of hats and headbands. Stole and tunic.
