I’ve worked with Kiné over the course of my IVF treatments. We have severe male factor infertility, and I also have low AMH. During my first round of IVF, I didn’t use acupuncture, and my retrieval yielded two low quality day 3 embryos. Neither one resulted in a pregnancy. I began working with Kiné during my second round of IVF, and I ended up with two day 5 embryos and one day 6 embryo - all of which were higher quality than the first round. I transferred one of those embryos and had a healthy baby girl two years ago. We started trying for baby number two and I went through a third egg retrieval. I opted not to use acupuncture due to COVID/childcare logistics. I ended up with only one low quality embryo. For my fourth egg retrieval, I went back to Kiné, and I am so happy I did. I reacted much better to the stimulation medication (only on it for 8 days vs 13 for the prior retrieval) and I ended up with two very high quality day 5 embryos. The stimulation protocol was pretty much identical between the two retrievals, and so it really seems like it was acupuncture that made the difference. I will admit that I was a bit of a skeptic about whether acupuncture can improve IVF outcomes - but any time I’ve ever had any success, it has been when I’ve been working with Kiné. I get better quality embryos, my uterine lining is thicker for transfers, and I just generally feel better all around. Kiné is very knowledgeable about the whole IVF process and she really takes the time to understand what’s going on with you. If you are going through IVF, I strongly recommend giving Kiné a call - you won’t regret it.

I saw Dr. Kiné Fischler twice a week for three months while visiting Portland for help regulating my cycle and supporting my fertility. I've seen a few different acupuncturists in the past few years and my experience with Dr. Fischler was by far the best. She is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, kind, supportive, professional and takes time to answer questions and share her advice. I saw a major improvement in my health and anxiety and for the first time in 20 years had no pain during my period and a healthier cycle. I wish I could take her back to the east coast with me!

Comfort is important to me and I could tell this was a consideration in every aspect of the experience. Kayla from the front desk was incredibly kind, there is relaxing music playing in the rooms, the tables are warm and they have heat lamps if your feet get cold (which I appreciated). Typically, my least favorite part of acupuncture is having the needles put in, but this was 100% painless with Dr. Fischler which was a major highlight and I cannot say has been the case elsewhere. I genuinely looked forward to my weekly appointments as an opportunity to disconnect and relax in the middle of the day and felt more relaxed after acupuncture than I have after spa days. I fell into a deep sleep most days and felt a deep sense of calm the rest of the day. Having these appointments blocked on my calendar made me realize how important it is to take breaks from work and I now consider acupuncture to be a new self-care routine going forward. Thank you Dr. Fischler & team for a wonderful experience!

Originally went to Dr. Fischler for knee pain. I also have had abnormal Pap smears for two years and noticed that she had helped a lot of women seeking health care so thought she might have some advice for me. During our consultation I told her about having abnormal Pap smears and having multiple doctors dismiss me when I thought something was wrong. Dr. Fischler recommended a OBGYN for to see. After meeting that OBGYN they determined I needed a colposcopy, which results came back that I have an early stage of cervical cancer that I am able to get taken care of. I wouldn’t have found this out if I hadn’t gone to Dr. Fischler. I am grateful for her because she was the first doctor to actually listen to me and help me advocate for my own health.

I have been seeing Dr. Fischler since January of this year. I am so happy to have found an acupuncturist & TCM practitioner that specializes in women’s health! She has been helping get my body back on track after dealing with several years of increasing menorrhagia. Dr. Fischler is kind, friendly and thoughtful in her approach to care. I appreciated that she was up front about this not necessarily being a quick fix and I am happy to report that my condition has been improving each month which is wonderful!

It is hard to find adequate words to describe my amazing experience with Kiné and the whole Willow Tree staff. I am going through the IVF process after a terrible tragedy and I am treated with such caring and compassion here. Each time I have an appointment, it feels like an instant self-care day. I am so grateful and know in my heart that I am on my way to a successful pregnancy due to my time spent at Willow Tree.

Willow Tree Acupuncture is my favorite acupuncture clinic in Portland, and I have seen a lot of great providers here. My husband and I have both been clients of Kine’s for the last five years and we could not recommend her more highly. I’ve seen her for chronic pain and migraines, ovarian cyst treatment, and most recently for both of us to receive fertility support. We are now four months pregnant and know Kine’s treatments, nutritional and health advice, and support were all very instrumental in us getting here! I’ve seen her during the covid-19 pandemic and her clinic follows the highest safety protocols. Kine is knowledgeable, professional, and personable and I always look forward to my treatments with her.

Dr. Kiné Fischler helped me through a time of extreme pain and stress caused by women's health issues (fibroids, cramps, etc.). After surgery in 2014, pain returned in 2018, 2019 and into 2020. My OBGYN was out of ideas so I turned to acupuncture and I am so glad I did. While I feel mostly healed now, I still want to go back because my overall wellbeing is enhanced by going. Acupuncture works wonders for stress and anxiety in addition to physical ailments. Dr. Kiné Fischler is extremely knowledgeable and talented. I highly recommend her!

I saw Kine over the course of three pregnancies. I had never had acupuncture before seeing Kine was a bit of a skeptic. I am a convert.
Through all of my pregnancies, she helped me to be more comfortable and rooted in my body. She twice helped me get pregnant naturally and another time prepared me for IVF, treated me on the day of transfer, and throughout the pregnancy.
I cannot say enough about the treatment i received from Kine - she is a master of her craft and a superbly kind human. She held me on dark days and guided me through with tenderness and wisdom. I am eternally grateful.
If you are on a fertility journey, you will find a skilled partner in Kine.
