Sunset Funeral Home, Cremation Center & Cemetery

After losing my husband and best friend of 25 years, I was LOST, BROKEN, and didnt know what to do. I was looking on the internet for the right place and SUNSET kept coming back to me, so to me, that was a sign. I didnt want any part of what I had to do , but I had to do it. This was the forst time I had to make arrangements of any kind and they were AMAZING. I explained we didnt want any funeral type service, we wanted a celebration of life and we werent into the box gawking and they completely understood. My husband's obituary was beautiful and they helped me through every step of the way during this extremely HARD time. It has been 6 weeks, and I am still hurting like nothing I can describe. I miss him so much. Sunset still emails and texts me to check on me and I have never known any place to do that. They made me as comfortable as possible and walked me through the process, even though I didnt want to do it. Thank you Sunset, Thank you so much for your kindness and outgoing willingness to fufill every request to make that day the best it could have been. I dont know what normal is anymore but I appreciate everything you all did for our family. PLEASE-ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW, IF YOU ARE HURTING, THERE IS HELP, PLEASE DONT GIVE UP, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FAMILY WHO HAS TO PICK UP AND MOVE ON WITH SHATTERED HEARTS AND ITS MISERABLE-I BEG YOU, PLEASE SEEK HELP-SUICIDE IS REAL, IT HAPPENS EVERYDAY AND ITS NOT FAIR, SO PLEASE GET HELP

When we first lost our Momma we chose to go with a different funeral service. Long story short they were absolutely horrible. They refuse to let us veiw our mother without paying an extra $400 before they cremated her. Sunset came in and saved the day. We got our mother over into their care and after that everything was handled professionally. They really cared about our feelings and they took care of our mother as if she was their own. We will forever be thankful for Sunset Funeral Services and we will always highly recommend them to anyone!! THANK YOU SUNSET

Sunset Funeral Home was a God sent to me and my family taking care of my wife they have went above board to make sure me and my kids have anything that we needed couldn't ask for better people

Amy and her staff went out of their way to make this difficult time as easy as possible. Make sure that all of my mothers needs were met. Even though it was Amy's day off she still answered my phone calls and my texts and answer any question that I had. In the bottom of my heart thank you thank you.

My husband passed away very unexpectedly the 29th of last month. He didnt have any life insurance, but did have some savings from his military pension. Sunset worked with my very tight budget, made sure he had a beautiful service, was treated with dignity and honor, and had full military honors (he was retired USMC) and that I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. They were incredibly helpful and compassionate.
