Sunflake Electric and Remodeling

Sunflake was great to work with on getting my home up to code for rental certification. They had great suggestions to keep the much needed upgrades on a 1940s home affordable. The work turned out great. Challenging bathroom vent fans look awesome. Will use them again.

The guys were very personal and courteous. They preformed the work professionally and in a minimal amount of time. I highly recommend them

Excellent service and expertise are things that you are going to receive when doing business with Jake and his staff. I would highly recommend Sunflake Electric to anyone.

Sunflake has been out twice to our house, one for squirrel damage in the attic and replacing our electrical mast, as the weather cap was damaged and needed replacement, as well as installing a bath fan.

The bath fan install was where they showed the most dedication. They were out to do it on a Friday, and they ran into problems in our attic, and when I called on the following Monday to reschedule, they came out the same day to do the work after working with Craftmasters Remodeling (who was doing attic insulation that Tuesday) to figure out how to cut into the bath area of the attic to do their work.

It would've been simple, but unbeknownst to them or us, the fan had an issue with it, so the following week Jake came out to troubleshoot what was wrong, determined the problem, and went to the store for a new fan. Jake didn't charge for doing it, and his words were, "Whatever it takes to make it right."

When we get around to doing wiring and new light fixtures in the basement, I know who I'm calling. :)

I had to have both electrical panels replaced in a duplex I owned. I got several bids. I went with SunFlake because Jake seemed both honest and competent. This guy tells you what he's going to do and gets it done right and on time. Pricing isn't the most expensive, but not cheap. You get what you pay for. If I need an electrician, I'll call Jake.

First time leaving a review and felt this was needed due to the safety of other homeowners. One of the employees came to the house and displayed hostility by slamming doors and cursing around the house. I didn't know him and I hadn't even spoken to him yet. I do not tolerate such behavior in my home and asked him to stop or he could leave. Abruptly, he came within inches of my face. I was terrified. He yelled some words, walked around the house, and left. The owner wasn't much help and tried to make it my fault. I'm just glad the project is done and I can close the door on this experience.

Professionalism, respect, excellent service and expertise are things that you are going to receive when making business with Jake and his staff. Jerod, Danny and Daniel, guys you are AWESOME THANKS !!!!!! You guys made the experience easy and amazing. We are extremely pleased and thankful for the work that Jake and his team performed at our home. Thanks guys for making this experience unique.

I was scheduled for an estimate appointment, came from work early, waited and waited and no one showed up. Two hours after the scheduled window got a call with some excuses. First impression matters and that one deserves one star.
