On June 1, 2017, I announced my candidacy for Florida Attorney General. I am running to be your lawyer, the people's lawyer. I have taken a commitment to refuse any contributions from Wall Street for this reason. How much justice you get should not depend on how much money you have. I will not hesitate to stand up to the special interests and to enforce our laws against any violators, whether it be an individual criminal or a wealthy corporation. I hope to offer our people something different. I will say what I mean and mean what I say. What I say in Room 1 will be the same thing I say in Room 2. You may not agree with me on everything, but at least you will know that I am sincere. And another thing - I'm a fighter. And I want to fight for you. Of course, I cannot do this alone.
