I give this local branch 5 stars. If I were rating the company overall, I would give them 3 stars.

I always have great customer service when I call into the office. They are friendly and very helpful. My Agent Ron is fantastic. He checks in on us every year to cover our current policy and try to save us money. He never tries to sell us additional coverage that we don't need. He is honest and trustworthy.

Now the company... They have limited customer service hours, especially on the weekends. It's difficult to get a hold of them when you really need them. The customer self-service portion of the website is mediocre and could use some additional user-friendly updates. I rarely have to deal with them though, because I can resolve most issues with the local office.

I have always had the best rates with Indiana Farm Bureau. Unfortunately I moved out of state and cannot keep them. Ron Hamby has always been a pleasure to work with. When I call, I always get amazing customer service. My rates month to month never varied much, maybe $5 but 98% of the time my rates were consistent.

Horrible customer service!

I have been with Farm Bureau for 30 plus years. Much has changed but they still offer a good product for a fair price. With the buzz of internet based insurance it is nice still having a local office and people to deal with.
