This is a great UPS store. I've been so pleased at the level of service that I receive here. The employees greet me by name and are friendly and polite, something you really don't get all that much anymore. The yearly price for a mailbox is not very much, and I can pick up my mail 24/7. I do a lot of shopping online, and it's important for me to know that my packages are safely waiting when I get there. Worth every penny.ReportRe: This is a great UPS store ... Worst experience. I went there because I am filing a VAWA case and needed the application that I fill out to request a copy of my abusive husband's birth certificate to be notarized before mailing it and the man flat out refuse to notarize the document saying that he was not allowed to notarize it unless my abusive husband is there with me even when I provide him with prove of the marriage and told him what I am doing was confidential and that my husband cannot know. He flat out refused to help. I suggest proper training to sensitize your staff to deal with different situations. If I could put zero stars I would.ReportRe: Worst experience. I went ... Was on hold for a half hour and change ended up hanging up. Actually went to store while I was still on hold. Two other associate looked clueless . Today there was a 50 year old woman who was the WORST. Demanded the poor girl working do the coping for her (it is self serve), argued over everything. Kept asking "why do you even work her". Seriously think of every worst customer, this woman was it. Other customers told her off, the clerk kept serving her with a smile. I do not know her name but give her credit and a raise. She definitely deserves it. That customer deserves a smacking.Report
The UPS store on Onondaga Boulevard was terrible! Apparently none of the UPS stores communicate with each other. When I asked to have the package shipped to the UPS store in Poughkeepsie, they asked me for the address! When I asked how my son would be notified that it had arrived at the store, the answer was "he can track it." Seems like notifying him would be part of the job that the people at UPS would do but I guess not. Then, when I called my son to verify that someone would be available to receive the package (it's wood and I don't want it left sitting out in the rain and possibly getting ruined)if I had it shipped to his home, the guy kept interrupting. If I could give this store less than 1 star, I would.Report
