Pier 105 Marina

I had Mike look at my engine after striking a submerged object. My insurance adjuster had a difficult time getting Pier 105 to return their calls. I also felt that Mike didn't want to work on my engine because he mentioned it was a "saltwater engine" multiple times. Once the engine was determined to be a total loss, I asked Mike how much I owed for the work done. I think it was $375. When I picked up my boat, there was an additional shop fee af about $100 added to the invoice. After I questioned the increase, the fee was removed. I thought that it was just a mistake. Then I dropped off a prop to get reworked by Baumann Props. Pier 105 is one of many places to drop/pickup that Baumann has in the area. When I picked up the prop, once again a shop fee of about $100 was added to the prop repair. I was never advised that they charged an extra fee for me dropping off the prop at one of Baumann pickup locations. I had dropped another prop off at Bowden Marine for Baumann to repair. Bowden Marine charged me $100 less than what Pier 105 charged me. Thats when I reached out to pier 105 and asked if they upcharge a client to drop off and pick up a prop. Pier 105 replied "Yes, if it goes through the marina, we do mark it up a little. Plus we add a $25 fuel charge that they charge us." Pier 105 has lost me as a customer and Bowden Marine has gained a customer.

Thanks to Pier 105, Sally, & Mike for basically redoing my boat and bringing her back to life. She purrs like a kitten on the water now and I appreciate Sally’s patience with the phone calls and Mikes willingness to explain the why behind each item that needed repaired. A class facility!

Great staff and wonderful location on the lake. I've had my boat here in wet storage for a year now and very happy I chose it. Mike the shop manager is the best on the lake and Sally is always there to help!

Purchased a Floe Versamax from Pier 105 Marina and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Great product and great service.

This, out-of-the-way marina, is a place to go to Buy, Service, and enjoy your favorite boat. But deep inside, it’s four walls, is a gentleman named Mike, who is the service manager. There is no one, no one, around LAKE CONROE who knows boats and the boat business better than Mike. I have known Mike for 15 years since I bought my first boat from his boss. For years, Mike did all of the service maintenance work on my boat and was always available to me to answer questions. One winter, we had an unexpected, hard freeze, and I did not have a chance to get my boat winterized. I called Mike and he was about to leave work early because he had a bad cold. I told him about my predicament and sure enough, Mike made a house call and winterized my two boats, feeling as poorly as he did.

When you’re looking for someone who is a straight shooter, honest, forthright, and easy to work with, you’re going to have a hard time unless you go to Pier 105 and ask for Mike.

I just can’t say enough about the fine treatment I’ve received from Mike over the years and how he continues to make time and make room for everybody.

Hands down the best experience in buying a boat. The entire team is based on real life people, not just salesman looking to sell you anything they can talk you into. Pier 105 will forever have my business and who ever asks where to buy a boat wil be told to go straight to them.

Worst customer service ever from Chayse . Made all kinds of promises and never delivered on one. Even sold the jet skis we'd been in contact with him about right out from under us. Told us other skis were coming up for sale and he would call us right away. Crickets. Luckily found great skis and better customer service and deal at Mancuso. We will never deal with Pier 105 again.

My Wife and I bought a 2023 Suntracker Bass Buggy 16XL from Bass Pro Shop in Katy. Right off the bat we had issues with the motor, a Mercury 50. So Bass Pro ordered the part put it all back together (so we thought), and we were off to Pier 105. As we set out on our maiden voyage we get past the no wake zone and BAM! no throttle. So we called Sally and turned around to put back into the marina. Their mechanic Mike opened up the hood and wouldn't you know it Bass Pro Shop forgot to link the throttle controls back up. So Mike and his crew fixed it on the spot and we had an amazing afternoon. Sally, Mike, Holt and the entire staff at Pier 105 Marina are just the best. 5 Stars just isn't enough to describe the level of hospitality we received. We love the dry dock option and the boat launch service. If you have a boat and you're going to sail Lake Conroe, do yourself a favor and look no further than Pier 105. I'd hurry if I were you though, because with service this great their slips are going to be full before summer begins.

I can't say enough positive things about the service that these people gave me. It's my understanding that they are under new management, so I can't speak to the difference between the old vs new management, but the service we received from Anthony (GM) was extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our salesperson Chayse, though still green and learning by his own admission, still managed to make buying our boat downright enjoyable. The mechanic (Mike) went above and beyond what was expected to make sure we left the marina with the knowledge and assurance needed to enjoy our boat on day one. Great experience from start to finish from the entire team!
