North Pointe OB/GYN Associates

Updating my old review - my last experience with this OBGYN was horrible. The Dr is great (Dr. Barrett) but the billing staff, not great. I had issues with bills and fees for things I did not approve of, and was ignored when I attempted to call and discuss these bills. I was at an appointment, saw the billing lady, asked to speak with her, the staff 'phoned' her and said "she was not in" though I could clearly see her sitting at her desk as she stood up and shut her door. I was livid. It took 4 months for her to finally sit down with us and that was only because I parked myself in front of her door, 2 weeks away from my due date waiting for her though they said "she was not in". She miraculously appeared, opened her door and finally sat down with me to discuss the bill and unwanted procedure that I did not approve/nor ask for. If you go there, make sure you understand what you are being billed because I believe they think you are oblivious to what is being done, and will just pay whatever they sneak in.

I have enjoyed all of my experiences with North Point over the past months. I recently had a beautiful baby girl and their services and support are second to none. Even during this pandemic, Dr. Walsh, Dr. Barret and Midwife Toledo were awesome! I’m truly grateful all of their staff.

Love Dr. Barrett! Year after year, He continues to convey the same impeccable level of caring and concern for my health and the well-being of all of his patients. Truly grateful for his insight and expertise!

Dr Barrett is simply one of the best Doctors, surgeons, and OBGYN I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. He saved my daughter’s life. We both trust him and I recommend him to anyone searching for an OB or OBGYN. We both didn’t want a male doctor (we always wanted a female doctor) and I am telling you, he saved my daughter’s life at the hospital when no one else could find exactly what the problem was. I switched us both over to him and it was the very best decision I ever made. You won’t regret it.

I had my yearly exam with Dr. Walker and I have to say she was a great doctor with excellent bedside manner. She answered all my questions and made me feel super comfortable. For what’s typically an unpleasant exam, she made me feel at ease. The front desk lady was also super nice and helpful! I also really enjoyed the fact that they’re paperless! Truly paperless! My forms were done online and anything that needed to be signed in office was done on a handheld electronic device.

Dr Walsh is a great doctor. She takes her time to listen to you. I had a big concern and I called the office today and I was able to see her. She took her time to listen to all my concerns. I think I hit a jackpot finding a doctor that is this good. I left the office feeling very happy. The staffs were all very nice too.

Dr.Walsh is the best! have been her patient for 13 years. she really takes time to listen to you and very honest with her opinions.

I have been coming to this office for 10 years. All of my pregnancy were overseen by Dr.Lambert. He’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. However I called to schedule and annual and the receptionist stated they start at $100 and a pap was included and the price goes up depending on additional labs and what not. Get to the check out and they are trying to charge me for blood work I declined and now it’s 180$ for office visit and additional for pap and urine. So pretty much paid $100 for a breast exam. No payment plan options, go somewhere else if you are self pay. Not transparent with prices.
