Add ReviewDropped our bighorn 5th wheel off to have some warranty work done it looks like we will be getting everything taken care of except our heated theater seats are not made anymore so they are going to have to figure out what they are going to do about that weather they order something new to put in its place but I'm pretty happy so farReport
Best price on parts in town (without good sam).Report
Very friendly and helpful, especially Randy in parts.
Ethan was our salesman and he found us exactly what we wanted. He didn’t try to show us any trailers that did t fit what we wanted. Caleb was our finance person and he put in the work to get us the payment and Interest that worked for our situation. These 2 are great guys and won’t jerk you around or waste your time.Report
Great people great service for the 5 starReport
Finding a good RV service center is a hassle but Chris and the team at the new service location have been phenomenal. We've had to take in our RV a number of times (sometimes defect, sometimes our own fault) and they've always been super helpful and communicative.Report

We found a used 2021 Viking Pop up Trailer on line on Motor Sportsland Web Site. (previously owned). We live in the Bay Area CA. We contacted the Dealership and connected with Candice, and subsequently Casey. We asked for details regarding the condition of the Trailer because they were so far away and we wanted to avoid incurring travel costs if we arrived and the trailer was not what was presented online. We asked specifically if there was anything "we should know" regarding the condition of the Trailer. They assured us there was nothing wrong with the Trailer. After several days of back and forth communication they did mention that the entry door had "a loose bolt on the entryway door". No explanation as to what happened to the door. Turns out the trailer was in some sort of "accident" - hit on that side, which damaged the door, when in the 'down' position, used as the step. (we found this out after traveling from the Bay Area to Utah).Report
When we arrived they took us right to Justin in the Sales Office to sign documents. The trailer was not set up. No one offered for us to actually Look at the Trailer. We had to say Wait a Minute, we are not signing purchase documents when we haven't even seen the Trailer !! So they pulled it out and opened it up. It was dirty and looked like no one even went thru it after it was returned to the Dealership. It looked like whomever owned it for that short time had a drunken party in it. The shower curtain was hanging off the track, it was dirty inside and out. One of the drawers track was broken, a nail sticking up from the floorboard, and the wires that run along the inside for the lights were hanging loose, and one of the feet on the dinette table was missing (we didn't discover this until later). It was so strange if you didn't know better you would have thought the trailer was heavily used for many years. It was obvious no one at Motor Sportsland had taken a good look at this trailer before telling us it was "in perfect condition". If they would have had the same model New in their showroom we would have bought that instead. But pop up trailers are hard to come by these days, so we pointed out all of the things that needed repair and asked them to fix And clean the trailer. There is a real disconnect between sales and whomever is tasked with reconditioning / servicing the trailers. Finally after they did what should have been done long before we showed up, they had Matt do a walk thru with us. He is the 5 star part of this review. He was patient with all of our questions and showed us everything we needed to know. Fantastic guy. It was his customer service that tempered our questionable experience thus far. - - One more chapter to the tale. We got the trailer home to California and wouldn't you know it, right next to the door that was "damaged in an accident", is a big crack in the wet bath 'shower' floor !! We never saw that because the BBQ that comes with the trailer was inside a cardboard box taking up most of the space inside the 'wet bath'. Knowing that the Dealership did not do a proper inspection of this trailer before putting it up for Sale - maybe we should have inspected every square inch, but as customers we expected the Dealership to do what they are supposed to do. Now we are have to absorb the cost of fixing the wet bath/shower floor. If the Dealership had just done their due diligence before selling us the trailer, none of this would have happened. {or we like to think so - that they did not sell us a trailer knowing there was a big crack in the wet bath/shower floor} We are so disappointed overall with our experience with Motor Sportsland. We expected them to do their do diligence, especially considering we were too far away to do it ourselves. We asked multiple times "what if any, issues are there w/ the trailer" "please look it over closely". They said they did. So, word to the wise double & triple check what they say and do if you choose to do business w/ Motor Sportsland.
They do a great job!Report
