Kelly, our funeral director, was an angel sent to us to help us in our time of grief. She covered every detail with love and compassion to honor our loved one. The support for the video montage of our amazing husband, father and grandfather will be cherished for years. Kelly definitely has a calling on her life to serve others in their most difficult hours.

Do not use them for funeral service. They will pull the chair from under you! Literally... in the middle of service they asked for the grieving family to move from under the tarp, took away the chairs and green carpet. The Father called back the family to finish the service all while having to stand up for the remaining time. So rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional!!! Lucas Funeral Service in Grapevine, Texas

Update: Reply, You have obviously have not seen the video that was recorded during the funeral showing a white lady in a grey skirt working for your company come up to the father asking him to announce everyone to move from under the awning/tarp. The machinery you mentioned was after all of this happened. To blame the father is uncalled for. You can also see in the video where the same lady comes to one of the workers lowering the casket whispering somthing such as, the father just informed us they have 5 minutes of service left. Which was actually longer then that. Only mom was given chair to sit.. and that's only because dad had kept one to the side. You can see in the video where the husband was kneeling on the ground. Everyone else was left standing. Your reply to my comment doesn't go with the facts seen on the video.
I hope you will take better measures and compassion when you service the next family. No family should ever go through that. It was and still is very unprofessional, but above all hurtful.

We sincerely love every family we serve and feel sick about any misunderstandings and miscommunication that took place. Please know my intent responding to your comments was meant as informative and educating, not wanting to be adversarial. We in no way "blame the Father". I was merely relaying what he himself shared with me. Lucas sponsor's both churches he is affiliated with and we respect him. I would hope you would reach out to me via my email, or phone numbers I have shared with you. Might I broach the subject of what the primary goal is here. For us, as I am sure it is you, is for families to be served with compassion and professionalism. When a mistake or misunderstanding occurs we have an open ear and an open heart. Nothing that occurred was done with a malicious heart. Again, we are here to listen, learn, correct and perform loving service for families. This is compassion we have had handed down to us for six generations. I am sorry for your anger. I have spoken with "Father", Ms. Mendoza's brother etc..inquiring about Ms. Mendoza's service at the Grapevine Cemetery. Please know we love and help all families that come to us. We never intend to act as you say. I'm not sure your review post accomplishes serving families better, which we always strive to do. Again, please reach out as offered. Kelly went above and beyond to make sure my Father’s preparation and services went as planned . It was a beautiful service, lots of thought and care went into everything . Kelly and the staff did an outstanding job , I would highly recommend Lucas Funeral Home .

Lucas Funeral Home in Keller did a superb job everything was stellar!!!! The responsiveness to my inquiries to questions and their continued follow up after the funeral was great and much appreciated!!! Brandon is very capable as a funeral director!!

Kelly Mobley and team at Lucas in Grapevine helped us through our grief in losing our sister. Kelly worked carefully and quickly during the week of Thanksgiving, including Thanksgiving Day, to make sure no detail was left unattended. Service was beautiful, can’t recommend Lucas enough in your time of loss.
