The setting for this studio is in the woods and well worth a trip to meet the artist and her husband. I have visited there often to just see what work they are creating and to shop. Linda is a good teacher so feel free to ask questions about her work. Jim and Linda are a delight and this is a place not to miss in exploring pottery in NC. You won't be disappointed.Report
My husband and I visited Linda and Jim's studio yesterday and we were so impressed.Report
I know Linda's work from some years ago and have always loved her original artistry.
I'm impressed now at how she continues to innovate and experiment - and at how she and Jim have combined their talents (and energy!) to produce so many beautiful pieces. I especially loved the large vases that incorporated African driftwood into lid handles.
Their pieces combine graceful lines (handles, lips, transformed shapes) with captivating glazes that draw you in and make you ask how in the world they achieved that effect.
One of my best pottery trips ever!
Some of the most original and beautiful pieces I have ever seen. Exquisite!Report
