About Dr. Charles L. Wakefield

Dr. Wakefield enjoys all areas of womens health care and performs nearly all related procedures. Because there are now more options than ever, he stays excited about the future of womens health care. Dr. Wakefield brings experience in new, minimally-invasive surgical treatments including robotics and office-based procedures, and takes a special interest in treating and managing urinary incontinence. Dr. Wakefield regards patient needs as he would a family members, and feels all should be treated equally. For six months Dr. Wakefield served in Iraq as a physician for the United States military. He enjoys teaching and was recognized at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Ky., with the 2009-2010 Preceptor of the Year Award. Dr. Wakefield has presented research at national conferences and is published on the topic of preeclampsia.
